Systematic willpower

In the quest of making something out of myself, I have had to avoid the path of least resistance. It has not been easy, nonetheless; sitting down and giving thought to what could be if I did things a tad bit differently is inspiration enough to keep trying. In the same breathe, the reality of my reluctance to go the extra mile haunts me.

This definitely stuck with me. When moments of weakness strike, I honestly can not depend on myself to pull through. I need something greater and stronger than my willpower. All because willpower is for losers. Quote me on that on.

“We fall to the level of our systems” — James Clear

Could something be any more true? I clearly can not be mad at the end result. The outcome is only a reflection of the system in place.
